Following the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel, a wave of demonstrations has shaken Israel for over a year. Every Saturday night, protesters gather in Kikar HaHatufim to pressure the Netanyahu government into ending the war securing the hostages' release. Meanwhile, other groups hold frequent demonstrations calling for a ceasefire and expressing solidarity with the Arab-Palestinian people, carrying signs such as “Don’t even think about resettling in Gaza” and“Stop the war.”
Following these groups, I marched toward the Gaza border alongside Marching for Life (צועדים למען החיים), Combatants for Peace (לוחמים לשלום), and Standing Together (עומדים ביחד), Arab-Jewish movements committed to nonviolent action and equality.
